Grace left.
I was told about this possible day few weeks ago, the time being has witnessed my shock, happiness for her move, sadness for her leave and excitement for her brand new future.
People feel connected because they are similar. I can see myself in Grace, that’s why I understand her. She knows her dreams, plans for her future, and acts for the success. We had the same strong belief in life, family and work.
Grace,
I will remember how we met on the first day;
I will remember your over-boiled veggie;
I will remember our deep conversation about future;
I will remember your shaking head with the music;
I will remember your special dancing moves;
I will remember all the stories only between us.
I admit,
You are farther in distance, but will be closer in my mind;
You are less frequent to be seen every day, but will come into my life with more meanings;
You left this small territory, but will be my friend forever regardless of place and time.
I bought the tops we wore in the pictures as farewell gift to Grace. It’s my favorite brand – BCBG MAXAZRIA and Grace’s favorite color-grey. When I paid the clothes, the cashier checked on me if I wanted both. The number one thing ladies hate is not being unique, but what I hate most now is I cannot see my twin friend every day.
